Neman loops hike is waiting you like never before and invites you to explore the never seen wild banks of the Neman. For the fifth time, we have made our routes at the loops of the Neman river.
Our new slogan – hiking is taking us higher! After surviving the quarantine, we hit the hiking trail to remember that good uplifting emotion when we complete our goal. We have also prepared an exclusive start and finish place – Pociūnai airport. During the good weather conditions, you will be delighted by the take-offs and landings of the planes and you will even have the opportunity to fly them yourself and see the loops of the Neman river from a bird’s eye view. That’s why we assign two elements to this hike this year – water and air.

The hike is radial – start and finish at the same place.
ROUTES:
Even more wilderness of the Neman. Like the participants of the 11 km route, you will have the opportunity to explore the wild banks of the Neman. Also, the remote forest of Kalviai will show up on your list. You will be acquainted with another wild loop of the Neman. Pociūnai airport will remain your symbol of start and finish. This route is also suitable for strollers.
The middle choice. By choosing this route, you will explore the Salt forest, surrounded by another loop of the Nemunas. In this route, you will enjoy the view of Birštonas, located on the other side of the river. Also, you will have a chance to see the former tourism base of Birštonas, which used to accommodate up to 15 000 people a year and was a real highlight of Soviet-era tourism. You will cross the finish line in the cozy Pociūnai airport.
Don’t miss anything. While hiking along this route, you will be able to see everything we have put together in the first three routes, so it can be said that you will not miss anything. Explore the wild banks of the Neman and observe the life of Birštonas from a distance. Furthermore, you will be able to find the differences between Kalviai and Salt forests. On top of that, you will be greeted by the take-offs and landings of the planes in Pociūnai airport.
More than anyone else. All the highlights of the aforementioned routes and the challenge of the longest route are waiting for you. You will be the only ones taking a ferry to Birštonas and marching on the shores of beloved Žvėrinčius forest. You will also be hiking along the banks of Prienai, which are getting more beautiful every year. In addition, you will have a chance to observe a bird island – an exceptional place, where you can find one of the biggest colonies of little terns and common terns in Lithuania. Finally, you will be greeted by the symbol of the start and finish – Pociūnai airport.
