We invite you to the autumn fairy tale!

The richest in trees, the one with the most lakes, the most beautiful… Many of the best epithets fit the forest of Labanoras. Forests and lakes reign here, but the kingdom also welcomes hikers. Do you know when is the best time to visit it? Undoubtedly – OCTOBER. Then autumn colors the forest in three beautiful colors – yellow, green and red.

The largest forest in Lithuania will color its paths and trails for hikers as early as October 8. Which route will you choose – 16, 25, or 33 kilometers?

Pupils, students, seniors, disabled people and children up to 7 years of old can choose a price type with a discount. During the collection of starter packs, all participants registered with a discount will be asked to provide a document confirming their status.

ROUTE INFORMATION

Tickets for the event are limited.

16 km: 2 lakes! There is no need to hurry. After passing the fast-flowing Žeimena at a slow pace, you will head towards the lakes, accompanied by pine forests. Lake Šalnaitis, beloved by locals, and Lake Kampuotis, with its unique shape, will greet the hikers as the most welcome guests: open shores and all their beauty. Have your cameras ready!

25 km: 6 lakes! If your legs are ready for a bigger challenge and the two coasts aren’t enough for your eyes, we offer you a route of medium difficulty. Counting is the name of the game here! Count not only the lakes you pass, but also the colors of autumn nature. Yellow, green, red, blue, brown,… did we miss something? Don’t daydream too much while looking at the slow dance of falling leaves, because we could check at the finish to see if you’ve been paying attention.

33 km: 10 lakes! Do you dream of discovering all the splendor of Labanoras? Then this route is just right for you! Forest, lake, forest lake, forest lake – that’s what the hike will be like. Some are small and remote, others are large and within reach. No less than 320 lakes are hiding in the embrace of one of the largest forests in Lithuania, but don’t worry – you don’t have to go around them all – we’ve selected ten of the most beautiful ones for you!

THE PROCESS OF THE EVENT

PLACE OF ARRIVAL
Participants of all routes must arrive at the starting point of the hike on their own – Forest lot near Žeimena (GPS: 55.153139, 25.985722).

REGISTRATION

After arriving to the start area, your ticket will be scanned (mobile versions accepted) and you will be handed out your starting package, which contains:
– Control bracelet (Only participants with bracelets will be serviced at the stops);
– Participant pass and a map with directions and support contacts;
– Other crucial information and items.

PARKING
Parking in the dedicated parking lot for hikers (GPS:55.14769, 25.99651).

STARTING
After registration, you are allowed to begin the hike on the designated time for your route, which can be found in the route comparison area.

HIKING
Rest and assistance stops will be set up all across the hike route, in which you are required to check-in with your participant pass. You will also be able to replenish your water supplies, have a cup of tea, grab a snack and if need be, receive first medical assistance.

TRANSPORTATION AFTER TERMINATING YOUR HIKE EARLY
Participants wishing to terminate their hike early will have to get to the nearest rest and assistance stop. From there, they will be brought back to the start area by designated vehicles. For participants who have not completed the hike, e-mail the diploma will be sent by e-mail specified during registration. by mail within 15 minutes after the finish is recorded in the registration system.

FINISHING
All of the hike routes are radial, thus you will start and finish and the same place – Forest lot near Žeimena (GPS: 55.153139, 25.985722). Here, the participants who have successfully completed their chosen route will be awarded with medals. El. the diploma will be sent to the participant by e-mail specified during registration by mail within 15 minutes after finishing.

When registering, all participants agree with hike regulations.
