Druskininkai is undoubtedly one of the greenest cities in Lithuania, an exclusive health resort and a true oasis of tranquility. It is the natural beauty of this city that we are dedicated to unveiling on this hike. It may sound paradoxical, but it will be a hike-to-nature, almost without leaving the city, because, in a city like Druskininkai, it is certainly possible.

These routes are proof that hiking in the city can also be a hike in nature, as most of the time you will hike in forests and parks, along rivers and lakes. It will be a hike-to-nature getaway without leaving the city. The hike is radial – start and finish at the same place.
MARŠRUTAI:
A route for beginners who want to get acquainted with the culture of hiking and see the greenness of Druskininkai city through the eyes of a hiker. By choosing this route you will also have the opportunity to listen to the river Nemunas because it is precisely its picturesque shores that you will explore. You will also see two nature symbols of the city of Druskininkai: Lake Druskonis and its surrounding park, and Karolis Dineika Health Park, famous for its healing properties of air, water, and sun.
It is a route along the picturesque Nemunas coast. And if Druskininkai had two hearts, it would undoubtedly be Druskonis Lake and Karolis Dineika Health Park, whose tranquil paths you will follow along this route. The highlight of this trail is the Girios Aidas Sculpture Park, which, as if to follow the forest fairy tale, will reveal to the hikers the uniqueness of the area. There will also be two exclusive trails for the participants of this route: the Sun leading along the Alka Pond and Ratnyčia Stream, and a part of the Žilvinas Trail, which is particularly rich in pine and juniper, making this route a kind of lung inhalation procedure.
The route consists of scenic shores of the Nemunas River, nature symbols of Druskininkai city: Lake Druskonis and Karolis Dineika Health Park and the Sun Nature Trail that leads through Alka Pond and Ratnyčia Stream. This route will also feature the visited Girios Aidas Sculpture Park and its walkable forest paths, as well as a true fresh air lung procedure, the Žilvinas Trail. The highlight of this route is the Virgin’s Eyes – two oval-shaped lakes lurking in a pine forest surrounded by pine trees and looking like two blue eyes of the Earth.
The route where you will see all business cards of Druskininkai city. You will stroll along the picturesque shores of the Nemunas River and park around the heart of the city – Lake Druskonis. Also on your list will be Karol Dineika Health Park. This route will take you along the paths of the Sun and Žilvinas, which is said to be the cleanest air in Druskininkai. And you will discover the true refuge of the forest in the Girios Aidas sculpture park and admire the eyes of nature called the Virgin’s Eyes. A special highlight of this route is the mythical Devil’s Stone, which is surrounded by wooden sculptures that evoke its mythological history.
The route is for true hiking enthusiasts, with all the essentials of this hike. Participants who choose this route of the biggest fan will hike along the banks of the Nemunas River, along the trails of Lake Druskonis and Karolis Dineika Health parks. You will also see one of the most picturesque places in Lithuania – the Virgin’s Eye. Once again, you will hear the mythological story of the Devil’s Stone at Svendubre. You will also hike the Sun Trail and the Žilvinas Trail, which is said to have the cleanest air in Druskininkai, you will be the only ones of all participants to reach Lake Grutas.
