Kazlų Rūda gold is all for you!

The talk about last year’s Kazlų Rūda hike spread so widely that we received calls to repeat it. Should we repeat? Let’s repeat! Only this time, we will meet here not in spring, but in golden autumn, which has painted the city of Suvalkija in tricolor.

The yellow kisses of the autumn sun, the green pine forests of Kazlų Rūda and the reddened forest paths – these are the colors that will accompany the entire hike. We’ll leave it up to you to decide how much time to spend in those forests.

The 7, 15, 25 and 36 km routes will invite you to a first date, or perhaps even a traditional visit, on October 7.

Invite your grandma, dad, or a friend who always says YES to a new adventure. Together you’ll not only have more fun hiking, but also seeing the panorama of the Kazlų Rūda forests!

Or 3 hours in the forest! It’s hard to be exact, but that’s about how long it’ll take you if you decide to slowly soak up the beauty of the Kazlų Rūda with your eyes and ears. It’s not scarce here, because you’ll be a visitor not just anywhere, but in a landscape reserve. After all, everything is different here: the forests are greener, the birds sing louder and the panoramas are even more picturesque. You can see them from the lookout tower on the route.

For the forest-lovers! If you listen to the songs in the forest during spring, pick berries in the summer, gather mushrooms in the fall, and can’t wait to get back to the woods in the winter, this is the route for you. There are many surprises and changing landscapes along the way, but most importantly, you’ll find lots of forests. You’ll find a variety of companions: golden leaves, evergreen spruces, animals hiding in the depths of the forest and, of course, the always cheerful trektourers.

Through the forests to the Dzūkai Sea! „What seas,” the skeptics will say. But their comments will soon fall silent when the name of the town of Jure appears on the route. Like a wave of the Baltic Sea, it’ll carry you to the wooden chapel of Jure and then accompany you to the picturesque footbridge over the Pilvė. After admiring the Dzūkija „seaside,” you will once again head into the endless forests of Kazlų Rūda, which will welcome you with all the autumn colors and guide you gently towards the finish line.

REGISTRATION

After arriving to the start area, your ticket will be scanned (mobile versions accepted) and you will be handed out your starting package.

PARKING
Parking in the parking lots located in the territory of the city of Kazlų Rūda. You can conveniently find them on the event map.

STARTING
After registration, you are allowed to begin the hike on the designated time for your route, which can be found in the route comparison area.

CUPS DEPOSIT
If you do not have a cup for tea, it will be possible to borrow it in the starting area, leaving a 1 euro deposit. The deposit will be returned after the hike by returning the cup.

HIKING
Rest and assistance stops will be set up all across the hike route. You will also be able to replenish your water supplies, have a cup of tea, grab a snack and if needed, receive first medical assistance.

TRANSPORTATION AFTER TERMINATING YOUR HIKE EARLY
Participants wishing to terminate their hike early will have to get to the nearest rest and assistance stop. From there, they will be brought back to the start area by designated vehicles. For participants who have not completed the hike, e-mail the diploma will be sent by e-mail specified during registration. by mail within 15 minutes after the finish is recorded in the registration system.

FINISHING
All of the hike routes are radial, thus you will start and finish and the same place – Kazlų Kazlų Rūda city park, Jaunimo g 7A, Kazlų Rūda (GPS:54.74514838, 23.49845264). Here, the participants who have successfully completed their chosen route will be awarded with medals. El. the diploma will be sent to the participant by e-mail specified during registration by mail within 15 minutes after finishing.
