We invite you to experience the Bukčiai forest through the eyes of a child and together with them. From babies to teenagers in the company of parents, friends, and relatives – all can participate. Different tracks, different tasks, and experiences! Choose from three routes: 4, 8, and 12 km (we recommend taking into account the child’s age and physical abilities).
If the child is under 16 years old, at least one adult must register and participate tohether.
Participation for people over 15 is possible just with Opportunities passport / Covid-19 Certificate.
Large families (with 3 or more children) and socially disadvantaged families (low-income, raising a disabled child) can get a 50% discount for the participant fee. During the collection of starter packs all participants registered with a discount will be asked to provide a document confirming their status.
The autumn hike will start with a letter from Trektours, which will invite the little hikers to an autumn adventure in the Bukčiai forest! We will start the sightseeing tour with a playful exercise, after which we will go on experiential trails, where:
• We will explore the depths of the forest (4 and 8 km routes)
• We will orient ourselves on the road of various challenges (12 km of tracks)

• 8 km route – complicated, but it is possible to complete with baby strollers.
• 12 km route – not suitable for walking with baby strollers.
THE PROCESS OF THE EVENT
PLACE OF ARRIVAL
All participants must arrive at the start area – Bukčiai forest, Jonažolių st. 13 (entrance through the gate to the playground), Vilnius, Lithuania (GPS: 54.666049, 25.210595). To reach start place is also possible by public transport. Bus stops closest to the starting point: Bijūnų st., Lazdynų st.
After arriving to the start area, your ticket will be scanned (mobile versions accepted) and you will be handed out your starting package, which contains:
– Control bracelet (in points – hikers will be served only with such a bracelet);
– Children will be given a task map;
– Snacks that will be needed during the hike;
– Other information and tools relevant to the trip.
After registration, you are allowed to begin the hike on the designated time for your route, which can be found in the route comparison area.
There will be rest and assistance points along the route. There will also be activities offered during the hike that we invite all team members to get involved in. It will also be possible to replenish your water supplies, have tea, have a snack and, if necessary, receive the necessary medical assistance.
TRANSPORTATION AFTER TERMINATING YOUR HIKE EARLY
Participants wishing to terminate their hike early will have to get to the nearest rest and assistance stop. From there, they will be brought back to the start area by designated vehicles. At the finish zone, participants should present their participant pass to volunteers and will receive a diploma with the exact number of kilometres walked.
All of the hike routes are radial, thus you will start and finish and the same place – Bukčiai forest, Jonažolių st. 13, Vilnius, Lithuania (GPS: 54.666049, 25.210595). Here, the participants who have successfully completed their chosen route will be awarded with nominal e-diplomas and medals.
When registering, all participants agree with hiking regulations.
