Crazy people spends winter not at home, but in the forests!

So on February 10 we go nowhere else, but to Tukums, where not only new, unexplored tracks await, but also the opportunity to stay for the whole weekend in one of Latvia’s ski resorts.

What to do if you want to calm down after the hike? The beach is only 17 km away! Sounds like a weekend where you’ll feel like you had a week off.

Pupils, students, seniors, disabled people and children up to 7 years of old can choose a price type with a discount. During the collection of starter packs, all participants registered with a discount will be asked to provide a document confirming their status.

Less is more! A longer route doesn’t always bring more fun, excitement and memories. If a long hike still scares you, trade it in for an easy stroll. Invite your grandma, dad, or a friend who always says YES to a new adventure. Together you’ll not only have more fun hiking, but also seeing the panorama of the Kazlų Rūda forests!

Or 3 hours in the forest! It’s hard to be exact, but that’s about how long it’ll take you if you decide to slowly soak up the beauty of the Kazlų Rūda with your eyes and ears. It’s not scarce here, because you’ll be a visitor not just anywhere, but in a landscape reserve. After all, everything is different here: the forests are greener, the birds sing louder and the panoramas are even more picturesque. You can see them from the lookout tower on the route.

Participants of all routes must arrive at the starting point of the hike on their own – Brīvības laukums, Brīvības Laukums 10, Tukums, Latvia (GPS: 56.9650, 23.1552)Kazlų Rūda city park, Jaunimo g 7A, Kazlų Rūda (GPS:54.74514838, 23.49845264)

REGISTRATION

After arriving to the start area, your ticket will be scanned (mobile versions accepted) and you will be handed out your starting package.

PARKING
Parking in the parking lots located in the territory of the city of Tukums. You can conveniently find them on the event map.

STARTING
After registration, you are allowed to begin the hike on the designated time for your route, which can be found in the route comparison area.

DISHES DEPOSIT
If you do not have a cup for tea, bowl and a spoon for lunch, it will be possible to borrow it in the starting area, leaving a 1 euro deposit for each. The deposit will be returned after the hike by returning the borrowed dishes.

HIKING
Rest and assistance stops will be set up all across the hike route. You will also be able to replenish your water supplies, have a cup of tea, grab a snack and if needed, receive first medical assistance.

TRANSPORTATION AFTER TERMINATING YOUR HIKE EARLY
Participants wishing to terminate their hike early will have to get to the nearest rest and assistance stop. From there, they will be brought back to the start area by designated vehicles. For participants who have not completed the hike, the diploma will be sent by e-mail specified during registration within 15 minutes after the finish is recorded in the registration system.

FINISHING
All of the hike routes are radial, thus you will start and finish and the same place – Kazl Brīvības laukums, Brīvības Laukums 10, Tukums, Latvia (GPS: 56.9650, 23.1552). Here, the participants who have successfully completed their chosen route will be awarded with medals. El. the diploma will be sent to the participant by e-mail specified during registration by mail within 15 minutes after finishing.

When registering, all participants agree with hike regulations.
