A family-friendly trail along Lake Necko and the Netta River. This peaceful, scenic route lets you feel the energy of the hike while taking in the charm of Augustów. Along the way, you will see the Augustów Roundup Memorial House, Lake Necko, the Netta River, the Augustów Lock, the Water Palace, the “Trójka” Radio Pier, the town beach, and the unique mural by Laura and Janusz Gąsiewski.
Active discovery: the Bystry Canal and Lake Białe Augustowskie.
This picturesque route combines sightseeing with relaxation by the water. Along the way, you’ll see the wooden villa of President Mościcki, the Augustów Lock, the Augustów Canal Museum, the Boulevard of European Nations, and the dancing sculpture of Maria Koterbska.
Trail of history and nature: through the Kalejty Reserve. Your journey begins in the historic heart of Augustów and leads you past boulevards and lakes into the wild beauty of the Augustów Forest. Along the way, you will see the Przewięź Lock, the Kalejty Lake Reserve, Lake Rospuda, and the picturesque beaches of Lake Białe.
The Great Loop of the “Goła Zośka” Legend. This adventurous and challenging route leads you from Augustów’s most iconic sights, through forests and lakes, to the place linked with the legend of Goła Zośka. Along the way, you will encounter an oak tree with a wild beehive, a mysterious chapel hidden in the woods, the Kalejty Lake Reserve, and the picturesque Lake Rospuda.
The Augustów Forests and Lakes Challenge. A true adventure for the steadfast begins in the heart of Augustów, among its historic landmarks and charming boulevards. The route leads you along the Augustów Canal, deep into the untamed wilderness of the forest and towards mysterious places shrouded in legend. Along the way, you will pass Lake Studzieniczne, the Swoboda Lock, the Kalejty Lake Reserve, and the legendary Goła Zośka by Lake Rospuda.
By paying the participation fee, hikers confirm that they have read and agree to the hiking terms and conditions.
Participants of all routes must arrive at the hike start location on their own – Amphitheatre in Augustów (Zarzecze, Augustów, Poland, 16-300) (GPS: 53.85357, 22.98585).
Parking is available in designated parking areas within the city limits.
Upon arrival at registration, we will scan your ticket (no need to print—your mobile phone is sufficient) and provide you with other important information about the hike.
You can start immediately after registration at the designated start time for your chosen route, which can be found in the route descriptions.
If you don’t have a bowl, cup, or spoon for lunch, you can rent them at the start area for €1 each. Please kindly return the items to us after finishing the hike. The rental fee is non-refundable.
Rest and aid stations will be set up along the route. There, you can refill your water supplies, have a snack, and receive necessary medical assistance if needed. Please note that route distances may vary slightly due to differences in GPS devices and tracking apps.
Participants who wish to end the hike early must make their way to the nearest rest and aid station, from where they will be transported back to the start/finish area by a special vehicle.
An electronic diploma will be sent via email within 15 minutes after the early finish is recorded in the registration system, using the email provided at registration.
All routes are radial, meaning you will start and finish at the same location – Amphitheatre in Augustów (Zarzecze, Augustów, Poland, 16-300) (GPS: 53.85357, 22.98585). After finishing, hike participants will be awarded medals. An e-diploma will be sent to the participant to the email address provided during registration within 15 minutes after finishing.
